Is there another part i have to buy from honda to get it or a part from somewhere else.
The system should contain the auxiliary box with the wires at one end and the cord at the other end the y extension cable and a male to female auxiliary extension cord. I have the 2006 model year accord and the stereo itself it is actually wired to accept the auxiliary port function. You can add the auxiliary audio input interface to your honda accord radio there is no need to replace anything just pull the radio out of the dash about 4 inches and plug the interface to select. I have a 2007 honda accord hybrid with stock nav and 6 disk cd changer.
I want to be able to use my phone for music in the car as well but i can t seem to find the aux port even though there is a aux button on the side. I m by no means a honda tech but i think in 2006 2007 you would need top of the line ex l model to have the usb and 3 5 mm ports.
